Relish in the change

From one day to the next, change is always a constant. This statement couldn’t be truer today. Our world is ever-changing from work to personal experiences. Working from home is now the norm and we must adapt to our new environments and continuously improve how we complete our work and meet our goals from connecting with colleagues and clients to meeting challenges and solving problems. In many ways, being away from our offices has only helped us appreciate the benefits of connecting with others and truly reminds us that collaboration is critical to our long-term success.

For those of us who have kids at home, many of whom will continue distance learning into the Fall, we have to develop the best ways to encourage them to learn and grow. While learning from academic curriculum is important to continuously develop and hone skills such as analytical and critical thinking, we also need to use this time to help our children become more self-sufficient and emotionally healthy. From cooking to re-designing rooms and (even) helping around the house, kids have more freedom and time to contribute to, think and communicate about daily living than ever before. Let’s relish in these opportunities and the benefits.
