When a hurricane strikes, just like the Covid pandemic has hit us, we can learn a lesson from the beautiful palm tree. Palm trees are flexible and malleable and can remain firm in any storm. It’s the oak tree in us that wants to stand tall and not bend.

2020 has asked us to be more willing to live differently than we have ever had to do in our lifetimes. That’s not easy, but those of us who are flexible and able to change are the ones who will come out of this storm stronger than before. Change is hard; there’s no doubting that. How we react to change is the key to our future. Sway proudly like the palm and 2021 will be brighter and merrier than the last.
