Vacation R&R...

It’s hard to turn your mind off even while on vacation (sigh).  Sometimes, thinking about your business while relaxing and exploring a different culture and community can refocus your efforts on the essential ways to grow.  I am grateful that I had the chance to spend some time in Europe this summer and was reminded of the globalization of our world economies. It’s apparent that world economies depend on global brands as well as local brands to drive economic growth. 

 In the cities and countries that I visited from Barcelona to Rome, tourism plays a significant role in the economy and employment. Clearly, customer service is vital to grow your brand and business and I experienced the positive impact that it makes on customer satisfaction and referral power.  Private tour guides to local cafes and restaurants provided us with some remarkable customer service as well as below expectation service.  Extraordinary service pays off in dividends from direct revenues to recommendations on TripAdvisor or Yelp, etc. which greatly influence prospective customers. Vacation R&R is the best way to learn.
