Is your glass half empty or full?
It’s all in how you look at a situation whether you feel happy or disappointed. Many of us tend to look at what we didn’t achieve versus what we can learn from a setback. It’s the glass half empty or full mindset. This mentality can drive our daily happiness or lack of it.
Why is it so hard then to take the positive approach and see the good in all circumstances. I know I am surrounded by high achievers and that’s not a bad thing; however, we tend to concentrate on what we don’t have rather than on what we do have. I think if we spent more time focusing on successful outcomes, we’d be much happier in our lives. It certainly doesn’t mean that we don’t continue to push forward, but we can enjoy the ride that much more.
