All Eyes on your Customers
I’ve been in London for about one week and I’ve noticed the Global companies that have done a brilliant job of transporting their brands around the world. Their success lies not only in their consistent and ever-present messaging, but also in their customization for other cultures. Creating a brand that speaks and connects globally requires strategic thinking with a keen eye on consumer preferences.
Your customers must be the guiding light on how you present your brand and what you deliver. For example, my accommodations at a U.S. based hotel have met my expectations based on the brand I know from home. The customer service has been excellent, yet there are some inconsistencies with which I have come to expect based on my experiences in the U.S. However, they are not so large that they will impact my connection with this hotel brand. If you stay focused on your customers, your brand will be well-served. Cheers.
