Read the signs...

Stop, Go, Yield, Detour, Exit, so many signs to follow. The traffic signs are easy to obey, although many don’t especially those in a hurry. On the other hand, it’s not a good idea to overreact to these signs and slam on the brakes, for instance.

The same can be said for the other signs we receive throughout the day from colleagues, associates, and acquaintances. Some are easy to understand, while others are less clear. Taking time to read the signs without rushing to conclusions is a wise way to proceed, but not everyone can take a step back to digest these messages. We can all learn from the speed demon who has to slam on the brakes or worse yet creates more serious damage.
