March madness...

March is certainly madness with all eyes on Conference Tournament wins and the ultimate NCAA National Championship. 32 college teams automatically qualify for the NCAA Tournament with the other 32+ spots likely taken by top 25 and a few lucky additional teams. But after all of that insanity in 21 days, there is only 1 team who gets bragging rights to the definitive victory.

So, what happens to the teams and players that don’t take the victory lap. Don’t get me wrong, these 3 weeks are my favorite weeks in college sports, especially due to the passion of the players, coaches and fans. What I love most is that it feels like any one of these teams can win with their determination and resiliency. That to me is living a successful life, personally and professionally. Winning feels great, but it’s what we do with the losses in our lives that defines who we are.
